About Us

Hi there! Welcome to Bake Eat Love. We're so glad you're here!

I'm Kristen, I co-founded Bake Eat Love with my husband, Nick.

I'm often asked why we started Bake Eat Love. It all started during the holiday season of 2018. My parents asked me for a wish list. I wanted a baking subscription. Really, I wanted to learn how to bake without going to culinary school. I knew I could learn it on my own through a baking subscription. I wanted the subscription to include specialty ingredients and recipes I wouldn't normally try on my own. I also wanted kitchen tools and gadgets to make these treats.

After trying a few subscriptions, I realized the exact experience I was looking for, didn't exist yet. So, Nick and I set out to make this dream a reality and created Bake Eat Love (BEL Box). 

BEL Box was created to share the love of baking from scratch by empowering baking enthusiasts to make beautiful treats and encouraging them to share their joy with others.

Fast forward a few years, and this mission is still the same! But, our family has grown. There are a few new helpers in test kitchen - our preschoolers Chloe and Valerie. They've opened my eyes to so many fun ways to help little ones engage and learn in the kitchen. I'm looking forward to creating recipes and content to help our youngest generation share the love of baking!
