Add oil if any of your chocolate gets too thick. If your chocolate gets too thick, add 1/2 tsp of canola oil and mix thoroughly. Repeat this again if necessary until you reach a smooth consistency.
Wash and dry your paintbrush first. Before you get started painting chocolate flowers, wash your brush and dry it. Make sure it is completely dry or else your chocolate will seize up.
Handle flower petals delicately. When you are repeating the steps of painting and freezing it is important to be super gentle with your chocolate. It can break very easily!
